Skiing Skiing
Arosa has runs suitable for every level of skier together with a well-designed modern lift system. The wide slopes are ideal for both beginners and intermediate skiers and Arosa has dedicated areas for families who are learning to ski. Mixed ability groups can meet up easily for lunch and après-ski at a number of picturesque and lively spots.
Snowboarding Snowboarding
Part of Arosa's renaissance as a cool resort includes its enthusiasm for snowboarding; the area has world class facilities, notably the fun park with a big air kicker and 130 metre half pipe. Arosa offers a snowboarders 'board-in' (as in 'drive in') mountain restaurant - the Mountain Mac. Arosa will also be holding the world FIS snowboarding championships in January 2007.
Off-piste Off-piste
If skiing or snowboarding off-piste appeals to you (with a guide or instructor of course), Arosa is the perfect base from which to start a tour to Tschiertschen and Lenzerheide. Day tours between Davos & Arosa and Arosa to Chur (in January) in the same week are also possible.

Arosa -> Lenzerheide -> Arosa is a 5 hour tour and Arosa -> Davos -> Arosa is a 9 hour day with an instructor/companion, available to 1-8 people on a sliding scale from 55 CHF (20 GBP) to 350CHF per person.

Ski Touring is heavenly on all the mountains around Arosa and the descents off-piste down to Molins are pure snowy landscapes.
