Arosa JUNIOR Club Summer
Hi, kids! There's always something happening at the Arosa JUNIOR Club. You're not likely to forget your exciting, action-packed adventures here in the mountains!
Supervised children's programme
Available Monday to Friday from the end of June to the end of August, and from the end of September to the middle of October, at Ochsenbühl. The Arosa JUNIOR Club supervised children's programme offers a wide range of exciting activities. A visit to the fire brigade, police station or post office is bound to appeal to any child. Our young guests can also take part in an introductory course in self-defence, or simply have fun with activities such as painting, doing handicrafts, playing hide-and-seek and ball games, making discoveries and listening to stories.
Family hikes
In summer, the whole family can enjoy amazing hikes in the beautiful Arosa mountains. Our Mobile Safari is fun for adults and children alike as they walk along Arosa's footpaths answering quiz questions by mobile phone.
Why not explore the natural environment in a new and exciting way by following the «schutz.wald.mensch.» An information leaflet giving full details is available for CHF 3 from the Arosa Tourism office.
Pool/lido
The idyllically situated Untersee lido has a solar-heated paddling pool with games, where the young and young at heart can play to their heart's content.
There is a grassy area to lie on, a sandy beach, sun deck, 50-metre swimming lane, 1- and 3-metre high diving boards, table tennis, bowling, beach volleyball and a garden restaurant to enjoy. The garden restaurant will soon have a new look.

Boat hire
Rowing boats, pedalos and aqua bikes can be hired free of charge on production of an Arosa Card.
Squirrel Path
On the well-known Squirrel Path, your children can not only feed the cute little animals but also enjoy a story. The amusing adventures of Erich the squirrel and his little daughter Emilie are recounted on 10 panels. The story is also available as a picture book from Arosa Tourism.
Pony riding
Daily in July and August. Price (unsupervised): CHF 10 for 30 minutes. Price (supervised): CHF 18 for 30 minutes.

Children's playground made of snow
Next to the Ochsenbühl open-air ice rink, the well-known Sculptura team has created a winter wonderland complete with slide, tunnels and much more.
Winter sports pass for children
The Junior Club runs specially organised nursery ski schools to make it as easy as possible for our younger guests to start learning to ski. The children are looked after by a team of professional children's ski instructors.

In winter, children will have the perfect experience on snow - a lovely progression with ski school, but also, sledge runs (2-5 km long), ice caves, open air ice skating, indoor swimming, feeding ducks, feeding squirrels with nuts along squirrel way, cable car and gondola rides, easy access mountain restaurants..everything is stroll around town/easy access. We are on the free resort circling bus-route for easy access to ski school and lifts, and we can also ski to 150 metres of the chalet after fresh snow fall.
For skiing and snowboarding beginners, there are lots of learning props and routes so learning is far from dull, and actually quite speedy. In the ski-stadium and halfpipe, there is lots of fun.
Also, for the whole family, one can enjoy outside and floodlit ice-skating, floodlit tobogganing, Iglu playgrounds, horse and sleigh rides, cinema, sunrise cable car, sun set cable car, monthly full moon mountain top party, and the weekly night time ski party.
There is an excellent Junior programme for 3-12 years.

There is so much to do in such a compact town and vaste open spaces, children grow up and return with their children to relive their childhood memories.

A ride in the surroundings of Arosa is a relaxing and unique adventure through streams and romantic forests.
Swim
The idyllically situated Untersee 'beach' and bathing area offers a solar heated paddling pool with play things where small and not so small children can play to their heart's content. There is also the city pool with slide park - easily accessible by train - and made more fun by taking the open air carriage.
Scooter
Experience Arosa's mountains and surroundings by scooter, which you can easily hire - fitted out these days with front and rear brakes and suspension - from the railway station.
Nordic Walking
Arosa has special Nordic Walking Trails, over a total distance of about 30 km. These pass through forests, past pretty mountain chalets and let you stumble across magnificent, unforgettable panoramic views.
Tennis
Not only if you want to be the successor of Roger Federer, Martina Hingis or Patty Schnyder. You also should work out on the court in our efficiently mountain climate with bright prospects.

We can offer private English tuition - structured in the morning, socialising and sporting in the afternoon. We can even combine it with cooking and cleaning lessons.
Junior Club
Arosa is a classical family place. You can drop off your 5-13 year old at 10 until 5pm, and they have a fun packed varied programme to enjoy - inside and out and about. You can decide on the day what you feel like, and whether the whole day will work, or just the morning or just the afternoon (starts 13.30). morning 10 CHF, lunch 10 CHF, afternoon, 10 CHF.
Our area is all easily accessible, the walkways are short and our facilities are well suited to children. Free of charge kids-lemonade in each restaurant, child-menus under 10 Francs in the mountain huts, and many children's playgrounds .
In summer
you'll go on discovery route around Arosa - from the treasure search to the rapid run with the fire-brigade car - holidays with us are full of surprises.
